The 14th annual Folsom Gourd & Arts Festival was held at Folsom City Park on September 27-28, 2008. Over 150 artists offered their exquisite artwork during the 2-day event. The festival included entertainment, food, classes and demonstrations by well-known artists teaching gourd art techniques including cutting, dying, and embellishing gourds. Leiser's Gourd Farm was on hand with thousands of gourds while art suppliers presented the latest tools, books, and materials.
